Your Bio

Welcome to my site! I am a free lance photographer who has been taking pictures since I received my first brownie camera at age 10. I love photographing landscapes, people and events. Also a painter and collage artist, I have an MA in Art Therapy. From art teacher to graphic artist to educational psychologist to free-lance photographer and painter, my involvement in expressive arts and image making has taken a few unusual turns. All of them have made the journey a stimulating one.

Recently I published the book, Ghost Ranch Vistas & Visions, a photo essay of my five years of living and working at Ghost Ranch Education and Retreat Center in awesome Abiquiu, New Mexico (Georgia O'Keeffe's home of red rock mesas and spectacular landscape). Christ, Creation & Contemplation: Ghost Ranch, New Mexico 11/07 : Here are some of the images I received at a retreat I attended at Ghost Ranch Conference Center in Abiquiu, New Mexico Nov. 2-4, 2007. The retreat was led by J. Philip Newell, an ordained Church of Scotland minister. He is a poet, scholar and teacher in the field of Celtic spirituality. Along with his wife, Allison, also a Church of Scotland minister, he leads retreats and interfaith discussions at Casa del Sol spirituality and retreat center at Ghost Ranch. We shared times of silence in the glorious high desert fall landscape, learned about the twin loves of the Celts: Christ and Creation, walked, hiked and ate together. Thank you to all those who shared this time with me - may your journey continue to be filled with the presence of God.
