Tree Dreaming: Homage to Imogen Cunningham
I wanted to give this image a dreamy, surreal look the way Imogen Cunningham did in her photographs

claudiatammen > Zone system assignment:
In LR cropped, adjusted for clipping, and used tone curve for brightness & contrast. I then converted the photo to greyscale with these values: red +15, orange +17, yellow -15, gr +60, aqua -9, Blue -15, purple -21, magenta +6.
I sharpened the image and converted to .jpg in Photoshop CS4.
In CS4 I created a curve adjustment layer and set the input value for highlights at 245, and for darks at 8. I merged the layers and sharpened the image.
