Best photos of the day

I went shooting today with two digital photo friends, Becca and Felicia, in my neighborhood, Modjeska Canyon. It is a beautiful place, full of interesting homes (from the grand to the funky), animals, trees and hiking trails. Helena Modjeska's (a famous actress in the 1800's) estate, Arden, is also here. Unfortunately, it wasn't open today which turned out to be a good thing....we never left my street, Markuson Rd.
We were able to shoot photos of this woman and her horses because she generously brought them into the arena and put them through their paces. Thank-you, Nancy! I liked this one best because it shows an intimate moment between her and horse, Kid. They have a lovely relationship and this photo catches a glimpse of that.
