Here are some of the images I received at a retreat I attended at Ghost Ranch Conference Center in Abiquiu, New Mexico Nov. 2-4, 2007. The retreat was led by J. Philip Newell, an ordained Church of Scotland minister. He is a poet, scholar and teacher in the field of Celtic spirituality. Along with his wife, Allison, also a Church of Scotland minister, he leads retreats and interfaith discussions at Casa del Sol spirituality and retreat center at Ghost Ranch. We shared times of silence in the glorious high desert fall landscape, learned about the twin loves of the Celts: Christ and Creation, walked, hiked and ate together.
